Down the snowy path go the three entities in another one of your splendid Chicago neighborhood sidewalk offerings, Mark. At least you have seasons for variety. It was around 90-degrees Fahrenheit and sunny here today, so unFebruarylike. But I digress. Stellar depth, perspective, stark contrast and dappled lighting effects in this one.

Mark, this is the most impressive capture I've seen in some time. The postwork here helped to provide a warm glow despite the wintery setting. There are so many beautiful details to take in, like the path that literally draws the viewer down it. The trees provide a snow covered frame for the people in the distance, who appear to be holding hands on their walk through this winter wonderland.

A very artistic, romantic, and yes, picturesque shot and treatment.

I LOVE this! The range of colours take in the whole spectrum, and the cutout-effect on the branches/light/shadows between is perfect. Everything about this just grabs me!

It's a great capture and postwork, Mark! Love the mood created. Looks like you've got plenty of snow.
