Description

My grandson Eligh, after having climbed to the top of a huge rock on the beach at Bandon. The large piece of driftwood at the bottom added some additional visual interest to this shot...

Great catch of the wonderful colors and intricate details in fantastic photo ! Your grandson looks so proud of himself looking way down at you. The driftwood is a added feature to this amazing rock formation indeed !

well I've already commented on this (privately) but I had to comment on it here. This is a superb shot. The swirl of lines in the rocks and driftwood make a symphony to surround Eligh. You bring out the lines beautifully. (I believe fully how much you work on each shot, I know it's a labor of love.) You've brought out the driftwood as almost brass-coated relics, almost gold. And the sky back there is so smooth by contrast, a big opening above Eligh. We get to see him well, in this shot, and he's great in that opening. This is a terrific shot, and while I'm hesitant to say "one of the best of this series"---because so many of them are terrific---it's a real standout. Beautiful work, and a really creative shot of Eligh.
