My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Central Texas is THE place to be for bluebonnet shots, much more showy than our N. Tx. locale. Lovely image, Tara!!

After such a long and cold winter this is a beautiful way to start spring. I have only photographed bluebonnets once. It was some years ago. Now I have to go back and find those pictures.

That is gorgeous! What a great photo, Tara! I would love to find a field of wildflowers like this, and do a video flying over it slowly, just a few feet off the ground.

zoom's a must, it brings out all the dreamy qualities of your treatment, and makes this the Monet-like piece Claude referred to. The blues are like little lights, the whites are bursts of energy, the grasses and leaves are very painterly, and they're also like 'thought', and you have a big high swath of this plant-life, with just a little bit of trees/water/and sky atop to give it all context. It's a beautiful 'sea', and dreamy and like a vision. The profusion reminds me of the prairie---the real prairie---in its infinite variety. But it's not like the prairie in other ways, this has its own unique beauty. Beautiful work, very glad you're still doing photography, or at least photographic developing, during this long period where your eye has all these problems. Your uploads have been beautiful. I"m at over a half hour, and as so often happens in your gallery, I've only done 3 pieces in that time, which seems crazy, but it's a testament to your work. I thought I'd have more time, but suddenly I have to stop. I'll be back for more soon. But as I've always said, I see everything you post, regardless, and sit with it too. And you continue to post beautiful inward flowing art. Enjoy your travels, wherever you are, and a big hug to you and bill. Enjoy home when you arrive!
