It's so lovely to see those little sprouts coming out of the cracks in the bark; a beautiful tree, and an excellent shot Harry!

Another terrific shot of bark, from you. This is like a big striated landscape, with cacti coming out of it. The light is beautiful, covering one side of the bark, and leaving the other in shadow. And the patterns of the bark are truly geological to my eye, moving the way whole tracts of land move. The 'cacti' are a wonderful burst, like little fireworks. And you gave a sliver of grass behind the tree (far left), which grounds us...Terrific seeing, with fine contrasts of rust reds and browns and many grays, whites and blacks. Fine zeroing-in! Your eye finds these segments like an x-ray machine.
