Wow, this should be zoomed in to fully appreciate the clarity, color variations of the foliage, detail, reflections, and the fact that one tree can dominate virtually an entire island, situated on what is euphemistically termed a pond. The interplay blend of colors adds to the loveliness of this image. Super, Mark.

Mark, this is one of the most lovely ponds I have seen in quite some time. Everything about this image is beautiful and one can easily imagine becoming lost while sitting on the bank. Honestly I can't imagine a more peaceful and tranquil setting.

What a fabulous view this is. One could almost long for such an autumn, if it wasnt because spring is so busy right now :-) I adore all the fantastic colors. I cannot remember we have had such rich colors in our area ever. Superb wonder photo. :-)

First impressions are the most lasting and this just spells out: 'peace and tranquility' - and I wish to be there, on the other side - across the water, (having a bit of a picnic maybe ?) ... it conjures up all sorts of things in my imagination, where I could never be bored - and everything I imagine is real ! but the best part of it is, that you have found such an idyllic and quiet spot, presented in those rich and warm Autumn tones of nature - I could spend hours there, watching time go by - with nothing much to do - but dream ... SIC TRANSIT GLORIA MUNDI ! BB I read somewhere a while ago: 'A man is not idle, because he is absorbed in thought. There is a visible is labour and there is an invisible labour.' (hope, this makes some sense at all?) ;P
