Excellent study Andrea. I see you got your black foam core? Or is it card? Either way, this is excellent, and I love that pot!

Now this is a still life that could be found in a museum. Something painted by a late-19th century impressionist like Monet. A fantastic image. I like this a whole bunch.

holy cow, Andrea, when this first went up, I only had time to glance, and hadn't zoomed---and I really liked it then. But when I zoomed---gazongas! It's almost a Caravaggio, or an 18th C. still life. It has touches of the Dutch masters (though they'd have more reds and browns). It's exquisite. You have done so many things with still lifes---so many treatments, so much exploration and beauty---it's no surprise that you'd do this. It's huge, full size, and it arcs over the whole visual universe, with those dried bulbs hanging on like little fireworks. The black is tremendous as a background. And the pot is perfect for a muted textured holder---your sense of combination, so keen in still lifes and bottle shots, is at a peak here. Also, without a visible bottom, it's nearly a painting. Great work, I just love this. And with this huge monitor of mine---which is why I'm working so big, these days (with apologies to everyone who has smaller monitors)---it reaches out and hugs the whole space. Wonderful!

This is beautiful. The black background shows off both the seedheads and the pot beautifully. A superb image!
