I enjoy creating artwork in Poser, Photoshop CC, Vue, and DAZ Studio. I also have a passion for photography, and have been actively shooting for many years. I've been using Poser since Version 8, and am also learning my way around DAZ Studio. I've been using Adobe Photoshop since version 4. I also use Vue 10. I frequently use my photos as backgrounds, and composite my 3D figures into them.
I have been creating my web comic / graphic novel "The Girls From T.N.A." since fall of 2009, and have been a member of Renderosity since August 2009. I've made a lot of wonderful friends here, and have been inspired every time I visit!
I will soon have a more complete biography, as I am updating everything. In the meantime, have a look around my gallery!
Thanks!
Rod

Great scene Rod is it my imagination or is there a drone of yours in the sky above the trees? (the V of the two trees)

Good eye, Mike! Gotta keep a close eye on this foursome! LOL

cause Dan left his nads on the other side? he, he.. love the Abby road concept here my friend, how do you create shadows like that using poser and photos? that's always had me amazed in your talents. they look natural all the way. i'm keepin a eye on the news about Balt, and the riots. curfew is now in order and no ones going home.
RodS
Mostly it's a matter of studying the lighting in the background photo - or render, and moving lights around in Poser to match the lighting in the photo/render. I hope to put together a new tutorial (if time allows) soon to show how I do it.. It does take some playing around and tweaking to get it to look right. Ever since Ferguson, those rioters have been using every excuse possible to act like a bunch of idiots. The rioting didn't bring Michael Brown back to life, and it's not going to resurrect Freddie Gray, either. I have my own ideas on how to handle those rioters and looters, but I'll keep it to myself... :-P

great work on the shadows and putting them into a photo. they crossed to go eat tacos

I am having trouble with the galleries opening. going to give up and go to bed!

I have to say... This is AWESOME!!!.... as soon as I saw this, the Beatles popped in my head! I was wondering why Trish wasn't wearing any shoes... then I looked closely at the picture of Abbey Road, then it clicked! nicely done!!! and why did they cross the road?... to get Trish's shoes.... and to hope that she doesn't find out that I was the one who put them over there! Awesome work! and thanks for the great laugh!!! I needed it!!
RodS
LOL - Yep... Paul was barefoot! :-D I won't tell her you moved her shoes - you get in enough trouble with her on your own! LOL

i made a similar one months ago,but mine was more tagged and censored ,wheenies and tits all over the image hehehehehehe.looks great to me nice concept. yeah looting does not help anyone,it will make the people angry and the main thing is the real issues are going to get lost in the havoc.if you want to change something you must do it with brains and not this way.i cannot change the world when i go and smash shop windows.most of the agitators are probably manipulated and eventually paid and dont even live there i hear.

I guess he's just gone on the record as saying that eh? I like the look mate, shadows are great as well, but where are the insects?

All males to the back of the line, better view from there lol..

FANTABULOUS! I had never noticed that Paul was barefoot in that photo. Can't say I ever paid that much attention to their feet in the days of my youth. Excellent photo/figure blending and I would never have guess about the crosswalk. You are too good.

LOL! Cool mixed medium image!! ;-)

Super cool, Rod. Nostalgic to say the least even thou the "characters" are not the same, it is such a timeless moment. Cheers, buddy, and be well!

I have actually seen this famous spot, it really is a blink and you'd miss it place if only for the hoards of Japanese Tourists almost getting themselves run over.. lol The studios are really quite small but anyone recording there does have to go in the front still so, you never know how you'd see.. Great job on this mate, girls looking good as always! Rob
drifterlee
Very nice. I've missed your girls!

well I hope you find this comment buried away in 2015...I wanted to give you a personal holiday wish, and I wanted to do it in your gallery, so I galavanted through all kinds of old pieces, and chose this; and luckily, I hadn't commented on it yet! Great takeoff on that great Abbey Road photo. You did a terrific job with a classic photo. I read your comment above about how you did the shadows; but those of us who've seen some of your videos know how hard you work on so many details, and I learn a ton from that, as well as gaining admiration for your dedication each time I see your process. Great job on each character here, and on placing those iconic crossway markers, etc. (And your light on these beautiful 4 suits the light in the photo too--another of the details you put into your work. Like looking at a piece of carpentry, and realizing the person who made it put love into every single detail.) Well I wish you and Jo and everyone else in your life a wonderful Christmas and holiday season, and thank you for all the joy and humor and light and great talent you bring to this place each day. We were speaking of Dave and the 'institution' he's been here: You're an equal institution, Rod, you keep this place dancing in the sky, and your kindness and support and constant getting us on our feet to dance is priceless. I'm deeply grateful, and hope your 2020 has all kinds of light and joy to make up for the darker moments of the previous years (of which there were an ample supply, god knows). Merry Christmas to you, Jo, and all who you love, I'm one of many who are very grateful for you, and I hope your season glows.
(btw, Abbey Road had a real abbey, which is cool considering that its famous studios---which started out w/ classical music---had some of the heaviest rock stars goin' in its hallowed halls. Wonder what those nuns would've thought...They also have world famous recording recording equipment---I mean legendary; it's a haven for sound experts---and one of the world's great concert grands. So you linked your wonderful characters to a legendary place in this render. Not to mention the association with that fly-by group...whose name I can't remember...I'll have to look it up...the moths? the fruitflies...the name escapes me...have a great Christmas, Rod!)
