Description

Today was one of those days where you just HAVE to get out and enjoy it. Cool, light breezes, and the sky full of those picturesque little clouds that make it perfect, I took the drones out for a little exercise after work. There is a wonderful little horseshoe lake a few miles from my house along a hiking/biking trail. With all the rain we've had recently, the water is a brackish, brownish-green color - but when you get above it..... This was taken from about 236 feet with my Inspire 1. I love the clouds with the sun behind them, and the patches of blue sky reflected in the water. It makes the surface of the lake a lot more appealing. I love this capability to get a POV that wouldn't have been possible not so long ago. Hope everyone is having a good week - only two more days to the weekend! Yay!! Still having about a day's delay on my ebots, but I guess I'll just have to live with it. I'm not entirely sure if it's a Rendo problem or an internet issue with servers in the Midwest as Terri suggested. Maybe it will clear up someday.. As always, thanks for stopping by, and for all your wonderful comments and support!

Gorgeous! Your drones have opened up a whole new world for us. Thank you! As for service issues, they will clear up when companies like AT&T decide that the smaller populated areas deserve service as well as the larger populated areas - like most third world countries already do.

Nice geography photo. You can even see an older oxbow to the right. Clouds look great on the water, colors coming out really well. Don't think it is Rendo's fault as here in the west I am gettin ebots pretty much when they are posted. Think it must be that midwest router problem that is biting your butt.

Very nice, Rod! Those drones certainly give you a different perspective on the world around you! SO much green out there! I figure that some time in the near future we'll see that here in NH, LOL. Spring is coming VERY slowly here, but the weekend promises to be nice and warm!

Very cool shot Rod! Is that a man made lake or what's left of an old oxbow lake?

If you get any higher mate, you'll be buzzing Airliners! Brilliant POV, you can see for miles, literally.... Sorry I'm late, just not been on Rendo allot of late as I've been barely getting any e-bots.. I really don't know whats going on there, its like they've gone on self destruct!!!! Sad.. But, this a fine shot, well done. Rob
