Unlike the next in this series (which btw is number 3, whereas this is number 4---it doesn't matter, but it's a bit of a surprise, lol, kind of an 'easter egg' surprise), this doesn't have the wolves looking at each other in love and protection, but looking around, one looking up, the other out. And yet there's something about their demeanor that makes them feel very together, very connected. And the wolf looking up seems to be looking at a pair of wolves above him---in spirit-form, maybe---who are clearly together, as they appear to be nuzzling together. I love how that wolf looks at these two "nuzzlers" with such calm. Calm permeates the whole image---canines utterly relaxed, and still seeking, with those two spirits atop. Your dreamcatcher---in the shape of a heart (love)---encases them, leaving a cold winter night around them---winter being conveyed by all your blue, but also by the snow-laden branches of pine trees, and suggestions of snow speckling the clouds and sky. And the beautiful "droop" of the feathers and turquoise jewels is so relaxed and flowing. The medallion in the bottom-center (also in a heart shape) is a beautiful centerpiece for the hoop. It's beautiful, Carol, and again you've managed to make animals appear intimately connected without actually touching each other. You've got those inner feelings and attitudes down consummately. A very peaceful image, filled with nighttime light, and real love.
