Description
Captured 5/10/15 @ 10:11 am, at the beautiful Fullerton Arboretum, adjacent to the beautiful California State University Fullerton campus, in beautiful Fullerton, California.
A group of photographers, shown patiently awaiting, from what I was told, the emergence of a heron from foliage around the lake. With all of the other stuff to shoot around the arboretum, I would never have the perseverance for this, unless my main goal at the site was to photograph a heron, egret, ibis, or spoonbill.

Excellent Capture!!! All they need to do is come to my backyard, we have them every day trying to steal our Koi fish!!!

Herons can be incredibly patient; I've seen them sit virtually unmoving for an hour or more in one spot. Not that I sat and waited, I've walked on and passed back by the same spot only to see them still there like a statue! Those are some expensive lenses they've got ready and waiting. Excellent shot of the dedicated photographers, Harry!

Those fellows own the big guns, too. Just one of those lenses cost more than all of my gear put together! Nice shot, Harry.

cool capture of photographers...what sophisticated materials have they here !!!

a fine shot of the array of postures and expressions of photographers "in waiting". It has the feeling thoroughly. And TWO of them have gigantic camouflage lenses. (They're either serious about birds, or they're very rich hobbyists.) I like that one guy is lining up the shot (of his friend's back, lol), and the other three are kind of milling around. The front-most dude has his legs crossed, like he's given up on "readiness" and decided to relax. Love it. And the other two guys are just standing there. And there's that starburst tree again, only this time it's in the center. (Makes a nice centerpiece for the bunch.) Another fine photographer capture from you, Harry.
