Description

Fritz ran slap bang into a low object when I first got him nearly seven years ago, and pushed his two front teeth back. When he had his teeth scaled under anaesthetic two years ago the vet removed them I expect many of you won't recall Terry Thomas, and English actor and comedian who died of Parkinson's in 1990. He famously had a gap between his two front teeth.

Perfect title for this closeup. Yes, I remember Terry Thomas, he was a good actor/comedian. Creative shot.

That was a bit tricky - holding the snout and taking the pic at the same time !! I remember Tommy Terrace !!

I didn't realize Fritz had dental issues; he's still gorgeous anyway!

I remember Terry Thomas and I do see the resemblance. My favorite movie was "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World" but then again, every comic was in that movie. Hard to believe that he has been gone for 25 years. Fritz is better looking!

"You bounder, you absolute cad, make me look an absolute Charlie!" Love TT, he was superb in those magnificent men in their flying machines. So yes, I remember him well, and the fact that he died penniless too, such a shame.

I do remember him as a consummate actor! interesting story connecting with Fritz. Great capture, though I think Fritz might disagree

oh I remember T.Thomas, and when you posted this, I saw the name and smiled from ear to ear, thinking, "what in the world did she post, that had to do with Terry Thomas???" When I saw the teeth, I knew exactly! In America, he was an archetypal English "type," the way some of our actors were archetypal American types back then. He was very funny, and I totally remember his teeth. Great shot---and I wonder if Fritz was bothered by your pulling back his upper lips that way. Love that you did this. (I'd pay if he turned around and said, "wait'll you see my John Cleese!") Love it. Great dog shot! (Isn't it amazing what domestication does? Go to an animal in the wild, grab it and pull its upper lips back---see how long he stands still!)
