Description
I adore Green Sweat Bees.
I don't get to see them very often, so happily took advantage of their brief visits when they visited my Ligustrum shrub recently. There are 3 or 4 dozen different species of them and I didn't take the time to dig through BugGuide to find the specific species. Very small, 1/4 to 3/8 inch, they are very fast and never seem to stay still for more than a second. A challenging subject!
