Description

Greetings Folks, Been away, thus no comments for a while.. As you can see and may have spotted in various newspapers etc this weekend Liverpool held Cunard's 175th Anniversary Celebration's.. The whole fleet came to town.. Queen Victoria, Queen Mary 2 and the flagship, Queen Elizabeth.. Still painted in the same colours, still looking like old liners, impressive doesn't cover it.. You had to be there to see all three turn 180 degrees together.. At this point, they were all lined up across the river.. Close up shots will come of some, and night shots of the Queen Mary 2 and fireworks! Comments will follow tomorrow, Enjoy Rob

Amazing! The tugs give a sense of scale to the ships. I have visited the Queen Mary in Long Beach, California. It is an awesome ship and museum.

A fine shot of the Queens. 175 years makes me wish an ancestor had bought stock.
