What amazing loveliness! The original looks almost like a painting, it's so perfect; and the variation is striking also. Well done, my friend!

First, the top rose (the original) is another of your beautiful rose shots, this one highlighted in buttery yellows, as if someone dipped the edges in butter as if it were lobster. The pinks, here, have a slight peach tone; and the textures are beautiful. And you handled the background beautifully, to let the rose stand out. It's almost floating there. A beautiful shot. Then, in the bottom rose, you gave it this mix of reds and aqua blues, to where it almost looks like it has gangrene...but it's also quite beautiful. It looks like a peppermint sundae. And you've lightened the background, which works with the hues of the flower. What an interesting combination...I'd have not expected number 2, after the almost tomato-y ues of number one. Fine work on both, Harry, and the top one is another of your wonderful single rose captures. (Have you really posted 314??? My whole gallery is barely twice that large. Yours remains one of our best flower collections on RR.)
