Description
Captured 1/03/15 @ 9:22 am, looking across the ersatz studio setup atop my bed on the top floor of my condo.
Okay, similar to my eyeglasses and shadows #8 foto, but on this one I reversed the spectacles 180-degrees so the ear pieces are closest to us. Incidentally, the ear pieces are officially called temples.
With the sun perpetually on the move, one has to think and move fast for the best composition during these eyeglass photo shoots.
Auf wiedersehen.

Well done, Harry! Love how the sun picked up the bifocal in the shadow. Creative work!

So many layers of things to see here; the bifocal insets on the right hand set show up so well here, like cartoon eyes. Wonderful work, Harry!

another piece that should have a lot more viewers! More of your masterful minimalist photography, and another addition to your ever-growing collection of eyeglass/shadow/light studies. I never tire of these in your hands. I agree with Denise about the "cartoon" eyes cast from the sun's shadows. The glass 'ghosts', created by the sun, are marvelous, taking up the greater portion of the shot, and looming beneath the actual glasses as if they were the guiding forces behind the eyeglasses. The temple portions cast a beautiful set of shadows, like legs on the shadows. And your background is perfect, once more, in tone and texture. And you have the light off-frame, beaming down into the whole. Beautiful work, once more, and yes, I believe you when you say that you have to think fast and work fast to capture the many moods of the sun...because it never sits still (well, the earth never sits still!): You've gotten many variations on its effects, and they've all been grand. A terrific shot and series.
