Description

June 7, 2015 I took these photos about 2 weeks ago. The ground looked like it was covered with large areas of snow. A closer look revealed it was covered with huge amounts of these little flowers, so I felt I just HAD to photograph them. I'm glad I did because this week there's been some very heavy rain which has spoiled a lot of them. Sigh. But it was very beautiful while it lasted. I often marvel at the richness of nature in both quantity as well as diversity. Enjoy! :)

Right you are! They are about 1 inch/2.5 cm. across. :) Unfortunately, the rain has ruined most of them. :(

I like the mix of clover in this shot, mixed in with the daisies gives it a rich color contrast!!! (by the way, how's Blue doing after the big fight?)

He's in bed, moaning about cracked ribs (that really hurts with each breath!) and busted tail. :(

These are wonderful little flowers - we have them around here, too, but not in the quantity you describe. A lovely shot of these little blooms! They can't help bring a smile to one's face - and probably even soothe a T. Rex that's had a rough day! :-D

A beautiful capture of my favorite flower. There is just something about daisies that make people happy. A nice surprise at the end of a very long day. Hello to Kitty and you. I will post pictures someday. When I don't get up at 3:30 am! A busy baby season.
