Description
Without the elephant.
Captured 7/11/15 @ 8:52 am, somewhere in the neighborhood. These are about the largest I've seen around the area. Since everyone has cut back drastically on watering, I don't know how long they'll be able to survive the drought.
Toodles.

Super shot of these spectacular leaves! I'm guessing they don't move around as much as a whole elephant would...

Big ears. I suppose they can hear as well as the elephants ears :-) But they are mighty beautiful :)

I haven't grown these in decades, but I loved having them in the yard. Great shot!

Harry, I'm skipping, because I've missed so much. I'll try to get the "missed" ones each time I comment. (And btw, we can't edit our comments anymore---I see no re-do function, nor a "second comment" function. Those have been taken away as well!!! I want to SCREAM at what they did here...)
Wonderful light on this pair of leaves. There are other leaves too, but the two main leaves are doused in heavy light and shadow, and they're very dramatic. Plus your background is very rich---with those ferns, the fence, that white slab between the two leaves, and that "racing track" hose in front (ie, in the shape of the Indy 500). A really fine crop and pov. And the light and shadow are of high quality. A first rate shot. Those leaves are beautiful against those ferns...
