Description
Greetings Folks,
Surprise this and a very good one as well on a very sunny day!
America has 'Fifi' and others in museums well, this is the only B-29 in Europe and while the American Air Museum is expanded by a third, it sits outside..
The B-52 unfortunately was still inside lol
But a F-100 was outside elsewhere, not sure where everything else was lol
Please excuse building materials and the lumps under the aircraft (those were the glass door holders), but I have removed some but not all.. Had to stand on a barrier to get this shot..
Zoom is on very much folks!
And yes, she flew in! So did the B-52!
Rob
P.S. tomorrow maybe, a couple from inside the Land Warfare Museum, as I have figured out the camera lol
So Jagdpather anyone?

Despite all your difficulties this shot has turned out very well indeed Rob.

WOW! Only B-29 in Europe. Is this it's permanent home? I also wonder how it got here. Now, as for the photo and the retouching - I don't see where you've improved the photo. No need to comment the construction material. Maybe a B-52 another day. Is it also at home here, or is it flown in? A Jagdpanther sounds nice for desert after these last posts. Unless you have something more exciting. Keep up the good work! :-)

Very cool looking airplane Great capture - wicked postwork -- didn't see where you did it!

Does this 29 look good or what? Great shot and POV, Rob.

Oh, that is sweeeeet! What a gorgeous 29, and a super photo of her, Rob! I didn't even notice the construction bundles. I was too busy admiring this beauty!

Oh Gawd, heaven with wings, in this terrific shot of the aircraft that pounded Imperial Japan into submission during WWII. Love that nose structure and the hangar behind it, mate. in 2001, I saw a B-29 at March Air Force base in Southern Calif, photos of which I will post if I can find them.
