Description
I read somewhere that farmers keep their old, falling down barns as a tax write off rather than tear them down. The Palouse is full of old, falling down barns.

I am glad they don't pull them down - they make a splendid addition to the landscape in my opinion. This is a lovely clear shot Mark.

Wow, there's one tree growing in this area and you found it 8=) I think i remember an image called "Abandoned Farmhouse" that was taken in the Palouse, and now you did one, too! A wonderful capture with a clear composition and showing all basic colors!

Old barns often have a lot more character than the new ones. :) Thanks for sharing this peaceful scene.

A perfect composition. I wonder why it's not used.

Very quiet and serene capture I'm glad they don't get torn down

The old barn seems to be in better condition than that tree! I like the contrast!

i love American barns, i dont know if its the colour allied to the shape, but there's something about them, this is a super shot
