I am 58 years young, live in Johannesburg, South Africa and I'm a true product of my continent. I love the bush, the animals, sunshine, sunsets - oh well, anything to do with nature. I am unmarried and have three sons - 37, 33 and 30 respectively and three granddaugters aged 12, 6 and 4 respectively and obviously the light of my life! Photography has always been a passion and I have loved it since I can remember. I was still using a SLR camera and only switched to digital only in late 2007! My other passion is travel and I have been lucky enough to have travelled fairly widely. There are however still many, many places I would love to visit "one day." I am truly an amateur photographer and do it merely as a hobby. So please be gentle when you comment on my work. :-) Thank you Piet, my dear friend, for convincing me to place my work on Renderosity. You owe me one! Hugs, Carin xx

One can only wonder how they created this wall of art - a sturdy scaffold, I hope! Great shot, Carin!

Oh my, that's a colourful bit of artwork on those walls! How fun!

Wow, a striking montage of chic art! Reminds me of the Ginza in downtown Tokyo, but in English. The artist should post that one with the green elephant mask on Renderosity.

A very creative use of the space. I like urban art. So much better than soul dulling blank walls.

What an impressive array of paintings, a true color spectacle to watch, and to discover everything. I've got a great laugh at that lady with the green trunk, Carin. (or, maybe it's a man, haha I hope so, don't know why )

Great capture! :)

that's NY, alright, and you got the colors and shapes and fidgety breakup of the facade with total clarity, esp impressive given the light from the sky that day. A real patchwork, and you caught it with real clarity. NY has had art like this for years, it's a real bazaar in a way...I love your shot.
