Superb, Mark! Very classy in every way, and the monochrome is perfect.

I love this; the wrought iron railings are such an unusual sight to me, so very city...I guess when things are crowded together like that you need lines to delineate the beginnings and endings of things, so why not make them pretty lines, right? It's bigger here, and the lines are usually just sketched in with shrubs or trees or the lines of flower beds. Love the sepia and the postwork...

A fascinating composition, Mark, with a very interesting mixture of verticals, horizontals & diagonals, as well as some rounded & organic shapes for contrast & an appealing tonal range. The one thing that I find discordant is the over-sharpening (something I'm often guilty of too, though I'm trying hard to overcome the temptation). Purely my personal opinion (though what other opinion could I possibly offer?), but I think a somewhat softer touch - a light application of a glow filter, if you have one of those in your arsenal - would help...

Another lovely shot my friend!

Postwork? How does Denise detect any postwork? This image looks like it's raw and untouched, literally right out of the memory card. But I digress. An excellent POV capture of this iron railing/rod riot of angles, repetition, perspective, and contrast in this wonderful snap of just one portion of your neighborhood, Mark. Your neighborhood and mine couldn't be more different and polarized. Anyway, interesting to see the pumpkins and other flora intermixed with all that dark metal.

This is the kind of photo that - while it probably looks great in color - just shines in monochrome. How gorgeous! Sometimes we forget how many wonderful photos are waiting to be taken within a walk from our homes.
