Description

Almost all the things on my wall that are not photos are original stuff, either by friends or me. I am lucky to have known some extremely talented people! The dogs are by Julie Stooks who works in pastel, like my friend Christel. I do admire that., I get it all over me if I try! The people are some of the first lodgers I had before I went digital. That is a project for a wet winter, to make a database of all eighty or ninety of the folk who have lodged here, and then write about them! Another wall Here

oh I love the whole idea! And I love the artwork right alongside the photos...I didn't realize you had so many lodgers! And what an array of people. The flickr shot shows even more: From your gallery, your place looks like a whole metropolitan area of art, art objects, bottles, incredible oddities, you name it. Your fans, including me, could have a heyday in your place. A real carnival of great looking things...And it's fun to figure out which of them were by you...Btw, the shot has great angles and motion. Love both shots.

Visiting your place could pose a problem. I'd never get anywhere for looking. I see Fritz and what looks like Hettie. Are all the dogs yours?

I agree with Mark. It would take me a couple weeks to look at your house! It's like a wonderful museum!

Having been in your house, I can assure Tara and Mark that a couple of weeks wouldn't begin to touch it; the garden alone is a lifetime of exploration, and the house even more! Everywhere you look there's something to fascinate. I love seeing the bits that you share with us, focusing on the things that mean something to you. And I'm really drawn to that little picture of the nasturtiums in this shot!

Absolutely I love the pastels of your four-legged friends. So much talent on your wall, I suspect you can do your their own exhibition in your home (to fill your purse?). I too would like to know which were created by your hand (and brain, of course). Thank you for this beautiful show. Now I go quickly to your Flickr link, Andrea.

Extremely beautiful wall displays Andrea.

MrsRatbag is one very fortunate person, and she has expressed her thoughts so well.

Thanks for sharing this wonderful dedication to your friends and lodgers Andrea.

P. S.

Sounds like you have a very big winter project on the way !

Really looking forward to see some pics. and bits of your manuscripts that you can share with us some time in the future.
