Wouldn't this have been much funnier as 1752 due to this date being excluded from the calendar in Britain due to the adoption of the Gregorian calendar to correct the inconsistency between the Old Style and New Style dates. Just saying!

Assuming this was actually created in 1782, it reveals a very modern sense of humor for that time. Given the bad news we're bombarded with constantly these days, it would be great to hear this from one day from our newscasters...
