Description

My ancient kitchen taps look sinister this close! Another Here for the Flickr challenge 'moving water', which for various reasons I ended up doing at home.

Amazing. You would not expect much from this but in zoom mode you can see the corrosion on the faucet and the colors in the water. Once again you've made something out of what would normally be nothing.

Mark hit it right on the head, as he always does. The zoom shows a big monster spigot, with water pouring down like a mass of tassels. And, with all those things in the background---huge, in zoom---this is like a big spigot forest, where the faucet is just one giant among many. In mid-zoom (smaller) the contours of the spigot are clearer---and yeah it does look sinister! Closeups'll do that. (Like humans, it's probably saying, "oh god: Don't do a closeup! You have no IDEA how bad I look that way!") A big splash of a shot---no pun intended---and a lot of fun. I'll let Mark have the final word...

Golly big Wow !

Just to think it is still working after all the wear and tear.

Great photo, of the light reflections making a rainbow in the falling water.

Both are super shots Andrea, thanks for sharing.

P. S.

Your imagination and talent is way above and beyond anything I could ever compete in.

I truly admire you Andrea..
