Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

yes, it looks like a dog wholly at home with the water. Your shot conveys a dog 'taking a break' to take in the infinite peace of a great ocean. (Like he just got home from work...) Pensive and beautiful scene. And the hues feel late day in their golden reddish tones. A very open ocean-conscious composition too. Only someone with a deep history with the ocean would take this shot; and it's of two subjects you know and love: dogs and the sea. The dog-tracks are wonderful too...

Dogs do love beaches, and who can blame them? Wonderful scene!

Very nice looking capture! Reminds me, when I was with my Biggi on the Beach - Happy Souvenirs from my time in Spain!

Looks like a very dreamy capture - or maybe a reverie? Nicely done
