A beautiful urban landscape,Mark.Love the reddish leaves in the foreground. Didn't notice the two pedestrians til I viewed at full size, they were lost in the mist.

Cool! Sometimes our fog here is so thick ., you need a jackhammer to break it up. Exceptional photo.

And I think the mist was close too and made this light even stronger and ok, the settings does its work too, but sometimes a thin mist can spread the light and make it feel sharper, cant it? A very beautiful shot, dear Mark. :)

Love that whiteness, it seems to make everything seem more delicate and lovely. We had fog too yesterday ;) Such a pretty neighborhood you live in!

So very beautiful!
I see that you have twits who scribble on trees like we have here, so sad!
goodoleboy
Twits who scribble? Hey, they're graffiti artists, are most renown, and deserve a lot of respect for their unscrupulous, damaging deeds. But I digress. Splendid sepia work, with high contrast tones in this high depth/perspective capture of Chicago on a subtle misty morning, Mark. Plus, white mists remind me so much of horror movies, where anyone who enters the fog ends up as a deadly, mindless zombie.

Wonderful, my friend. It looks as an open fence to another world, where the light meets you. You have established that misty atmosphere so well here, Mark. One way or another you have a kind of revival of joy added to it. Bravo!

Strange as it may seem, I love a good foggy day once in a while.. This really captures that foggy, surreal feel, Mark! Great shot!

Early morning mists like this are always my favorite times... or maybe rain. Both are the same thing. A blanket of peaceful quiet that shrouds you and holds you in a gentle embrace, holding back time for just a moment.

Looks like you've come to the end of the world. A very cool image. Somehow everything works.
