I've looked at all three of your postings today & am now coming back to comment on them. They all have a very zen-like simplicity, naturalness, serenity & beauty. The other day I compared some of your "little drawings" to the ones I see in the New Yorker magazine. These pieces today remind me of artwork I see in a Buddhist magazine I read - Shambhala Sun. I have no idea what state of mind you're in when you create these, but they appear to be the free-flowing output of someone who has emptied their mind (in the best meditative sense) & is working on pure joyful instinct...

Lovely work Mark!!

These are like fabric-paint work. I agree with Claude about the feel of them.

Very pretty!

These remind me of batik work; they have that wax-edge kind of feeling to them. You are so remarkably diverse in your artistry!

I didn't know you did watercolor. These are really lovely. I particularly like the flower, it's so delicate and love the colors. Has a very free flow to it. Very nice work.

Thie is so beautiful and I am glad you are making this scrapbook for us all to see. The butterfly is like glowing, as if it could lighten up the darkness. Looks fantastic and the flower is so graceful and so delicate. I love both of them :-)

I am finding it hard to add to or improve upon the accolades you have already received. That butterfly simply glows as if displaying its soul. The flower shows a very delicate hand. Wonderful modeling.

So, now begins my brief professional analyses of your posted three uploads from years ago. In this one, depicted at the top, a great angle of the abstract frosted butterfly, as it rests upon deep blue leaded glass. Cool watercolor abstract etching of the lonely plant at the bottom. Your endless talents are amazing.

the butterfly makes me think of the deep dark jungle where fantastic creatures reside while the flower is something from the orient - made with simple strokes - something a Samurai warrior would do when at home. Excellent work on both

There is something wonderful about being able to create such beauty in a minimalist way like this. Every line, every color works in harmony together. This is beautiful work, Mark!
