Description

This is a front view of Eric and Alain's wonderful 58 Impala available now in their Nationale 7 store. This one has the original wheel covers and some textures I added, I also went with a different colour on this one. Thanks for looking and any comments, it's nice to know there are such supportive people out there. Mike.

WOW! Excellent automotive shot. You are the master at this genre in my opinion. Another terrific job, and you certainly get the best out of Eric and Alain's great models.

How do you do it? Another ugly color on a less than stylistic looking car and you pull out a "gem"!!! (LOL) To be sure this is not my favorite green but it really works well with the '58. Steelrazer is right, you are the master of this genre! 😀

To be honest Dave I'm starting to find that certain colours do indeed match certain cars. The 58 always reminds me of the Edsel range of cars, maybe a little too much over engineered and styled at the time when change of body style was just around the corner. By the early 60's out would go the fins and curves and in would come boxy lines. We had the same thing over here with the Ford Consul Classic sedan, out in 61, it was very much 50's US styling when the Cortina was just about to be produced.

Love it Mike ! Dave kinda put his finger on it. The color I would have never thought would look as good as it looks in your render and definitely not on this car ! Just amazing what you are able to do with the paint work and lighting =).
