This is very convenient, although we post less than we used to.

in fullest zoom, this oozes mystery...I think from the deep tree shadows, and from the tangled branches. And your quiet sepia makes the postbox standout like a strange sentinel. A beautiful photo, Andrea, with real mystery and ambience, and your sepia gives it all a feeling or memory. Beautiful, mysterious work.
(the flickr is more straight forward, and the postbox feels almost regal in your pov.)

We no longer have mailboxes scattered around neighborhoods. USPS will pick up mail from your personal box. Or you can go mail it at the post office.

It has such a sense of Presence and Importance with your selective colour treatment; seems as though post boxes are becoming an anachronism, with vandalism and terrorism making them not the icons of trustworthiness that they once were. Super shot and treatment.
