My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

it did appear! very cool great shot of the pool I'd like to meditate with a pole just to see what happens.
I do believe you can preview the page before posting and even after, you can go back and edit and see everything there

If I looked up serenity in a visual dictionary, this could very well be the image I'd find.
Tara, you suggested quite a while back that I include EXIF data with my photos, but I told you that I didn't want to, because I was trying to squeeze as much visual data into my 500 gb limit as I could. Now that the 500 gb limit is gone, I don't see any reason not to include it - so I will start doing that...

thank you to you and others who pushed for the exif. I hope it stays, and I know all of you went to a lot of trouble to get it back. And I think it's terrible that you have to do all that work with albums because the search engine was lost. (One of the best search engines on the web was scrapped.) Thanks for all the work you did here, I'm greatly appreciative Tara. And thanks to the others who worked with the staff too...
This image is serenity personified. With all the grainy detail of the area behind the pool, the pool and its reflections make it serene. You did a marvelous job with the water and its reflections, leaving the sky's reflections so blue and bright. And the crop makes 3 or 4 bands across the image (2 in the water, 1 in the statue and gravel, and 1 in the field behind), which flow easefully across your image. We even see the far buddha---right side---reflected in the water. This would pass a Zen test, it's rich but with clarity and emptiness of spirit. Beautiful work, Tara. A serene flowing image of a quiet beautiful place...

I share the hoorahs. (Hehe, my iPad corrected that to hookah rather appropriate for chilling out here) This is a photo of blissful peace, lovely.

I like this, it would be something to see. Take all the break you want, you deserve it.

Lovely, peaceful place. You captured it beautifully.

Peaceful is the feeling I get. In a world of turmoil this is a beautiful way to start my day. Beautiful capture.

Very good photo. But, someone's missing. Bill. He should be sitting very still somewhere, like a statue. Keep up the good work! :-)
There's so much going on with the site that I've given up on checking what's back and what isn't. But, if EXIF data is back, great! AT least some on the Rendo staff are listening to us!

Serenity personified; what a beautifully peaceful and soothing capture! Albums, huh? I tried, and immediately ran into a wall with having to have an image of a particular size in both dimensions for a cover. Apparently the folks who do the site building really don't understand images and how they work. I gave up, yet again. I have way too many shots and no way to "find" them here, but I do have backups filed on my home system that are a little bit easier to work with!

Beautifully composed and captured, Tara... those reflections are just wonderful!

I do see the data..... Man..... The ebots are back, the EXIF is back..... Sheesh... By this time next year, they should almost have everything working again. Just in time for the next major "improvement..." Cynical? ME? Naaahhhhh....
This is very lovely, Tara, and very meditative, indeed. I can use all the calm, and meditative images I can get. Between my job, the IRS hitting me with a $2300 dollar bill, and now I have to register my drones with the FAA, I'm about ready to start another Boston Tea Party... Only this time we'll throw the politicos into the bay, and drink the tea...
