Some dogs, the day after Christmas...
Ok, I know this isn't earth-shattering, but I'm all caught up with comments!!! I know, "whoop-de-do, Mark!" But with my slow speed, catching up for an entire holiday weekend was a big deal! And, though I'm sure some of you are posting at the very moment I upload this (sneaks!!!), I have a request: Please don't post anything else for 2 days! What, too much to ask? Lol, you made so many terrific images for the holidays, it was a pleasure, believe me! It's just that yesterday I faced a mound of ebots and notifcations large enough to put away a small village, so I put on my winter coat, took a deep breath, and said: "I'm going in! Notify the Authorities!!!"
Hope your post-Christmas is grand!
Have a fine Sunday!
Mark
(those are real dogs...I actually knew them...)

Congratulations!! A daunting task to say the least. Your doggies are so cute! I apologize but I just posted one. It will be my last for a week because I'm headed to Texas with my daughter and grandchildren. Keep your fingers crossed that I don't throw one of them out the window on the 14 hour trip.

one could almost say that the image and narrative have gone to the dogs, but I won't! wait! What? I've already said it. Oh well. Glad that you're somewhat caught up with the ebots - for some reason, they seem to multiply like rabbits or whatever....

Looks like they did not get any chew bones for christmas. Fun sketches of the dogs, Mark.

What fun this is! You could, Mark, say LESS, of course! I should be perfectly happy to have shorter comments from you. I won lots of accolades and high marks for précis , as you might well have guessed!

Very cool !!

I love it! I'd say it's been a "RUFF" couple days for you fighting off the flu, and getting behind.. I'm still about 75 ebots behind, myself..
The silver lining is seeing everyone's great artwork and stories, though!

AMazing once again my friend !!!

I know what you mean about being buried; if I take one day off from commenting it's daunting. Two or three and I'm really feeling buried! OK, about your dogs--you know I love them, I say it every time you post one. But I don't think you truly realize that these are high art. It isn't easy to throw down a couple-three lines and have a complete personality emerge. You don't draw a dog, of recognizable breed, it's not a drawing as such...you give us the essence of the dog's personality, DOG, all the little traits that instantly reminds everyone of every silly little fur-bomb they've ever known. And you do it like it's NOTHING, for gosh sake! I bow to your skill! We're not worthy, we're not worthy...

You have done very well and I hope you get a couple of days off!! The bots do seem to mount up don't they. Your little dogs in this posting look so real with great expressions. I love the one with his tongue out, you really have nailed him beautifully.

Well, after a short period of indecision, I decided to give a LOL to Denise's analyses of your nonpareil junket into canine land, Mark. You deliver, with just a few deft lines, what other artists longingly strive for in their interpretations of dogs. That said, I'm trying to determine the breed of that large dog with the humongous ears near the top of the image. I think a spoiled poodle. or a cocker spaniel; take your pick. And, I didn't post anything on Renderosity, which should help ease your burden of obligatory comments.

What Denise said. However, that second one is clearly Andrea's Fritz. I would recognize him anywhere. :P

OH Yes, I know that feeling and i am glad to say, that in this moment i have "only" 79 left ad i have to see fish swinning on its own layer. But Mark, You really get the attitude of dogs much better than a 10 hours drawing in colors. I just luve these little sketches. They tell a wonderful and so humorous story every time. :-)))

Oh..i don't want to speak about comments...i should to bury my head on the sand with shame...! But Your dogs, Mark! You give them so much life and personality; each one of them tells a story. I look at the big one, central and i see a protector and loving g.g.ma:)They are masterful, as well as so many others ...i remember a bunch of chickens that you sent me many years back, when i was ill from my neck and i even heal! haha!! But i 'quote' Denise in everything that she wrote ! I wouldn't be able to say it so well and YES, i also agree: i don't feel worthy ! I think that you don't believe HOW GOOD YOU ARE, Mark:)

I like this dogs, they need a few captions maybe. But the simple drawing often brings the biggest impact.

Your dogs are so full of personality. I especially like the second one - king size and love those ears.
