Lovely and simple effect, you got here. A very peaceful but sunny image. Fantastic, you can obtain such a clarity, when you work on your photos, Mark. Mine mostly get grainy. HA! Maybe they were a bit grainy in the first place. :-P

Fantastic capture my friend !!!

The high-key sky/water works so well with these geese. It's restful and exhilarating at the same time, not an easy thing to accomplish, and very nicely done!

If my first thought was "Mmm, Christmas goose.", would that be a bad thing? They do look very healthy. A fantastic image. Not quite black and white, the birds look to be slightly solarized. And their black heads stand out brilliantly from the high key background.

Love how this one has been presented with this lovely simplicity. The geese really take center stage here and even the trunk seems not as noticeable. Very cleverly done.

they look to be on a mission. maybe another goose is intruding into their territory . great capture

Stellar interpretation in this b & w high contrast and quasi silhouetted geese-at-the-lake capture, Mark.
beachzz
you do these high key shots so well and what an unlikely subject!!

Two-and-a-half geese. What could be better? :) Like everyone else, I love the high-key work.

I like the way this came out, the stark black and white, the ducks walking past. Very cool.

I like the stark effect here, Mark. It somehow seems to suit these geese - and it imparts a very dreamlike mood.
