What a brilliant sketch, with so many people enjoying their day; aside from the size of it, this could be Andrea's summer house (although I'd worry for her garden with so many feet trodding around in it!) Well done!

OH Ana dear. THis is a stunning and so lovely painting you made for our dear friend. I just luv, the negative effect you made in the shadows of the trees. It is so pro and artistic. I am certain, that he will adore this. I know that I do. This is a Perfect dedi for him. :) I admire your skills, Ana :))))))))

What a delight! It does look like the beginning of spring to me, with everyone wandering around enjoying the sunshine, but still wearing long pants and long sleeves and jackets. :P This is exactly what it is like in my part of the world, and your sketch makes the world a smaller and more connected place because of our shared experiences. :) Beautiful!

Your 'doodle' image is just so lively, with so many of different type of people walking around, some even sitting but all enjoying the first warmth and whisper of a Spring day... this sounds like a happy place to me, very enchanting and I think Mark would probably like this very much, as I do too

This is a very big "doodle"---it's a grand drawing, Ana! And the right side is a drawing all by itself, with so many different people and personalities...I love the way you draw people talking to teach other, and parents and children, and children playing, and---on the left side of the big tree--a mother and child (I think) with some people behind them...it's a real mix of humanity, something that only the best artists can capture. You even have two people hugging each other on the very far right. I don't know how you get such fine drawings with a "negative" technique---ie, painting 'around' the people. (Helle points this out too.) It's a very difficult technique, and you do it effortlessly.
And the blacks are very expressive, the leaves and branches are beautifully drawn, and you have even more people on the far left, and a few people quietly sitting at that center "gazebo" (sim? pérgula, belvedere, coreto?). As Andrea says, you have such a freedom of style in these drawings (paintings), so different from your big beautiful portraits. In works like this, you capture a lot of life with the simplest, freest strokes. And Tara noticed the full clothing---because it's not summer yet. And yes, as she says, this could be anywhere in the world. (Brigitte---blondeblurr---is in Australia, and they're getting fall now; but I imagine her spring is warm and lush, unlike yours or mine, lol---this painting is definitely of a cool spring!) Beautiful painting, Ana, and I know how much you did to make this, and I appreciate it greatly. The "shoe" painting would've been enough, but this is a wonderful painting, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I hope for the day when you can paint and draw as much as you wish, because you're so superb at it, and in every style you touch. (And maybe one day you can sculpt too.) Thank you, you're a very dear blessed soul and friend, and I appreciate this gift more than I can say.

I love all the people in this very lively painting, and I adore the two, close kids on the right in the background, Ana.
