Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Great boat. I put most of what I catch back too.

I probably would just go along for the ride for the views because like you said the POV is unique and the atmosphere is so restful. I can see myself catching photos instead of fish. :) This is a wonderful photo that takes me there.

A lovely looking boat. I've never seen a dinghy with those seats before, it must make rowing tricky in a stiff water flow.

Wonderful capture and story. Glad you had fun

Beautiful light, a kind of luminous blue gray in the boat, and fine deep greens in the water. The rocks in front are beautiful too. A shot that shows love. I'm impressed with your and Marcos's attitude toward the fish---not killing them or spearing them, and throwing them back (unless you intend to eat them). A very pleasing shot in hue and light. And I like the stuff in the boat too...it's definitely 'lived in'...

Up a lazy river. Catch and toss 'em? How unique. Love the POV and stark contrast in this fine foto, Maz.
