Description

Cuz that's the gal that I'm.... While other folks grow dizzy, I'll keep busy, Just bidin' my time. Now, that is one tall fairy, with a mask yet. Captured back on 11/7/10, at a Renaissance Faire held at Felicita County Park, 742, in semi beautiful Escondido, California.

A lovely capture and she probably has the right idea to just bide her time. 😄

Very nice portrait of this charming masked maiden. Is that a medieval soda can on the left side of this photo?

lol, claude---you gave us a sliver of a soda can, which is a fine accent to the piece; but it does raise the question how they got aluminum cans in 1550. (I'd do anything to see Henry VIII pop open a Miller and chug it down, while threatening to burn down the Church.) Wonderful portrait, not only for her amazing clothes---w/ fine detail---but her pose, her gentle smile, and those wings, which you managed to capture due to your angle of shooting. (If those aren't wings, she might wanna see a doctor...) And the stuff coming off of her mask---little 'tendrils'---make a delightful, slightly creepy addition to her face. (They actually fit, because her hair and her ribbons also flow downward like that.) Nicely seen with the big tree behind her; and it all opens up on the right, with a gathering. I've yet to get anyone to pose for me, and I've never caught a portrait like this spontaneously: You must have a way. Very sweet and finely posed portrait. Fine bright light too.
