Description
Were you ever lost, were you ever young
Were you ever safe, little brother?
Do you see the sense of the evidence
Are you still part of the struggle?
Taken close up inside Duxfords Land Warfare Museum, German soldier somewhere on the line, late in the war, behind cover with his MG34, a Hetzer behind..
The lyrics are from a Motorhead song called the above (many of their tunes were about the futility of war etc).. And, R.I.P Lemmy.. Much missed..
Tomorrow, is the American Air Show Duxford, I will be there.. They have an Osprey booked, and a Zero replica plus one or two other firsts (Bronco etc).. But as this is cool, it will rain or they won't show! Its also the first time for many years the USAF have actually shifted hardware to an airshow other than RIAT!
Photos will be incoming if the new ruling have not made it stupid and I can't get good shots and it does not rain...

Great capture here and the lyrics are very appropriate.
Good luck at the show

A fine museum display. It is Memorial Day here on Monday so the USAF participation makes sense.

Great photo and good words. For a moment I was confused as to whether this is a photo or a render from your new game! Must be a load of fun to visit a museum with "living" displays like this! YOU ARE THERE! Smell of gun powder. Sounds of distant gun fire and explosions. And "why am I here? MA, I want to go HOME!" Keep up the good work! :-)
My rating - a 7 ! Yes, again!
