You have caught a real variety of these pigeons. They look pleased with whatever they have found. A lovely capture. ☺

I happen to like pigeons, as they give me sweet memories of my childhood. My uncle was holding pigeons and I still remember the cozy sound of them and the smell of the sack of seed for them to eat.

Zoom really brings these to life. A fine shot of the random array that pigeons make, as they graze and generally mill around. (Think of the last time you saw geese this 'random'. Pigeons are all over the map, they don't move in flocks.) I really like the contrast of them against that drab gray soil. The soil, however, is active with debris and rocks, etc. And a big something or other---is that a gigantic walnut, on the right? A depleted melon? And you have some major roots crawling around in the background. And some red cloth. Like your padlock shots, there's a random jazziness to this, and you got real clarity in the wide variety of pigeons. I've read that pigeons are related to doves. I wonder how the doves feel about that...
