Description

Hi, Now, this was taken at last years Autumn Airshow at the Shuttleworth Collection.. It being a grass strip, it has a very tight landing curve and the approach is LOW over the road (there is one behind that hedge). People on the banks (who should pay - cheap buggers!) are actually higher than the aircraft lol Anyway, what you are looking at is a Hawker Cygnet (replica).. Thats Hawker of the Hurricane and Hunter fame, You will note the registration G-CAMM (unfortunately I've noticed its on the other side lol), in honour of its designer.. It apparently flies well and is stable and has some original parts.. It was entered in several racing competitions and was placed well.. The original is at RAF Cosford.. I may have a photo somewhere Rob P.S. Sunday coming its Shuttleworths 'Navy Day' and the Sea Vixen Jet will be there! Along with the Swordfish and other Navy aircraft..

This over the hedges view is priceless. No pressing concerns at all.

What a great angle you had for this one, Rob! Great shot!

I saw on CNN where the Blue Angels AND the Thunderbirds each had a crash today... Sadly the Blue Angels pilot died. The Thunderbird pilot ejected safely after maneuvering his F-16 away from people or houses.

Wow.. that's looks terrible... One thinks the aircraft comes out from the woods...

You see a Sea Vixen and a Swordfish next Sunday? Oh, you lucky man...
