Description

Here is Mother and Daughter 'Melanie' now, both celebrating 'Mother's Day' the OZZIE way - on the beach of course - where else do you find such exquisite and exceptional beaches for total relaxation, except for little Miss pocket-rocket, practising constantly her cartwheels and finding seashells for her Mother. Hasn't she got the cutest smile for the photographer ? *** I would also like to dedicate this pic for Lucinda (myrrhulz), wishing you a very *~* HAPPY BIRTHDAY ~*~ dear friend, may it be a good year for you and many more to follow, wish I could be there, to share a glass of Champagne with you and friends. Cheers to all Brigitte

Melanie has a cute smile indeed !

Looks like you caught her off guard, while showing off her seashell to her pretty mama.

What a nice quite looking area with the beautiful water and glimpse of the city in the background.

Our Mother's Day was not nearly as weather friendly in our part of the world to be sporting a bathing suit and basking in the sun.

Hope you enjoyed your outing, you are a Mother as well Brigitte.

This is a wonderful dedi to your friend. well done.

Boy I hope everyone zoomed this, because it really opens up when they do. Great textures on the bottom, with those blankets and I don't know what---a bag or shirt with a heart on it? And the spindly grasses on the bottom, and their shadows. It's almost like there's a spotlight on them, in a studio. And behind mother and daughter, a looming beach, leading to high rises. This reminds me of Lake Michigan. And Melanie is the big vertical element who defines the whole shot, and pulls it all together. Lovely work, Brigitte! And I love her sand covered feet---that's solid people photography. And her big smile. This is a moment that Lucinda has to love, she always shares so many of them with her friends; and I bunch the previous photo with this one too, because it's like the "before" and "after" of this magical girl. Wonderful dedi for Lucinda---it's finely seen and composed/cropped, and a wonderful family moment with a young 'star' as its center. It's perfect for Lucinda. HBirthday, Lucinda! And many, many more!

What a magnificent view, as well as depth you have created in your image, Brigitte. I also love the textures that make the feet of the daughter in the sand. And then of course THE eye-catcher: this great duo. And what a great moment, to make a birthday card for our dear friend, Lucinda. Bravo for Lucinda, and you, BB*-chen!

Hi Brigitte! Sorry to be so long getting here. I’ve been a bit out of it in a lot of ways. Thanks so much for your birthday wishes! This is a lovely picture! It fairly radiates relaxation, contentment, and fun times. It has a wonderful combination of energy and leisure. ‘Melanie’ is caught in a still moment, but the sand covered soles of her feet and her posture speak of coiled energy that will erupt into more cartwheels (I love your previous image too. The capture, composition, and lighting are superb!) Here ‘Melanie’ has settled for an instant and you have captured a wonderful mother/daughter moment. Beautiful lighting, composition, and textures. She does indeed have a cute smile. It is natural and speaks to all the joy of life that she is experiencing with her mom on a beautiful day in a beautiful place. It is an infectious smile that put a smile on my face too.

I would have loved to share a glass of champagne with you too, except I’d let you have the champagne and I’d have a margarita. I don’t like carbonation, which means champagne (and beer) are no go areas for me. :)

Your daughter has a very engaging smile !!! Very cute girl! You must be very proud. She has her eye on the camera and the camera has an eye for her, as well ! ! ! How in the world did you manage to get that beach all to yourselves ????
