Captured 5/12/16 @ 11:53 am, at the beautiful La Mirada Regional Park in beautiful La Mirada, California.
There will be brief absences because I'm in the midst of a huge postwork project.

When you spoke of "a huge postwork project," I was expecting to seen an announcement in the LA Times! (I think I've read all your descriptions since this shot, but if I missed the huge project, I'm sorry. I was dying to know what you were talking about...I'll get to it eventually, in any case.) After the faire shots, this is something from an oasis. Beautiful low lines, contrasted by the strong verticals of those palm trees. It's a scene out of a quiet shangri-la. And good proportions too, with lots of sky to match the big upward thrust of the trees. The birds in the water are the jewels to the shot...

After finishing up my first week on the new job, and not having even a day of rest between the previous one and this, I'm about totally beat. I could sooooo see myself drifting there on an air mattress with one of those tropical drinks in my hand just relaxing. Beautiful relaxing scene. Worthy of becoming a desktop wallpaper to be viewed on those cold winter days.
