Description
Hi,
Most (if not all) of Shuttleworths aircraft (and transport) collection are airworthy or the line in line.. Most have spent their entire lives working in one way or another..
These are two examples of such (the connection to Fly Navy is the R.N used both these types), the de Havilland Dragon Rapide is still working now, being used for pleasure flights at every Duxford airshow and most weekends.. Last show there had 4 of these beautiful aircraft flapping around!
The Avro Anson 19 is the last mark the pinnacle of the line.. This example is owned and cared for at Shuttleworth by BAE Systems (really- they have several aircraft here!)
Last time I saw the Anson it was in formation here with - THE VULCAN! Honestly.. (Photo if you'd like?)
By the way if you would like some of the transport on the move shots ask away?
Rob

WOW! Love the Dragon Rapide. It just looks like a hot 1930s bipe should. I have a pic of my cousin in the RAF standing next to the Annie he flew in at the end of WWII.
