Description
This barge is bringing needed supplies to the fishermen that live on some of the scattered islets in Ha Long Bay. It went very slowly and quietly, I am not sure if the reason was to not disturb the tranquility of the early morning, or if it was all it had. I suspect the former. This barge was riding low in the water and I don't know what the draft was, but these barges are owner-operated. The owners live on the tail end, and they usually have a small vegetable patch on deck for kitchen greens etc. and this one managed to have a couple of small palms on board too.

Beautiful - love the mist & the shadow patterns of the barge in the water. The one suggestion I have is that the edges of the image are a little too close to both ends of the barge & that more space at right & left would have improved the composition. Having said that, I know that sometimes it's not possible to do that - especially with moving objects like boats...
