Description
This is a WIP on a robot that I want to use for an animated short. His name is ALPHIE, which means nothing in particular :)
Modeled and rendered in Ray Dream 5.5. I REALLY need help (comments and suggestions) on how to shade and texture him since I'm pretty clueless on how those work, as of now. If you can provide some insight or ideas, I would /love/ to hear from you.
Now the torso has a texture map, as well as a bump map for some seams. Added some struts to the arms (for the heck of it) and increased the chest's poly count. This is as much as I can think of to do, so if anyone thinks something needs to be added, now's the time to speak :)
The next image may actually be in a scene (gasp). Does anyone know if I could find anything to use for grass?

I've decided not to give him knee joints for the sake of simplicity. As for Anything Grows, its only problem is that it's Carerra-only... I use Ray Dream ^_^
