BIO I'm an illustrator, and for the last 15 years I have been doing almost exclusively digital work--mostly covers for e-books and small presses; fantasy, SF and Paranormal Romance covers are my specialty. I use Poser, Photoshop and Painter, and a nifty little paint program called ArtRage. I have been lucky enough to have work shown on the BBC's The Sky at Night, done promotional artwork for the Hugos, and have digital art tutorials published in Michael Burn's Femme Digitale and Digital SciFi Art (Watson-Guptill 2004) as well as DVD covers, cd covers and e-book covers, most recently for Liquid Silver Books, Edge/Tesseract and Dragon Moon Press. I'm also a member of the International Association of Astronomical Artists. . When I have time, I do acrylic paintings for fun.
Commissions: I do 3d texturing and backgrounds now rather than book covers, and I do appreciate a good UV template to work on. Thanks for checking out my bio!

Someone should tell him the women prefer the shopping. Great job with this cool set, Lynn. I love the lights in the office spaces, was that your trick or part of the ser? fave/like
lwperkins
He's always having to go out for spellbooks and ingredients..as of book 7 his girlfriend is an ex. The series is really fun, it's by Jim Butcher. Harry Dresden is the "only wizard in the Chicago phonebook" :D I painted in the office lights--you can light up the windows, but you have to bring your own pictures if you want something specific! And thank you! <3

Love Mr Dresen!!! I keep looking for Book 16!!! STILL not available!!
Love this!!!
lwperkins
Wow, I am only up to 10 or so! I think he is working on a couple of other series as well. And thank you!

LOL awesome :-) Loved the Show and the books :-) Love the rain effects :-)

That is such a cool set! And it has fences and railings that are modular!! I am so happy--I hate drawing those by hand. I liked having a floor separator too when I stuck the small building on the bigger one--Harry is blocking the view of the bookstore window, but there are books in there! Using the set was a lot like building with blocks when I was a kid. :D

I just started a new series. It's with a half demon "magical artifacts locator"/private eye. He has two books out...so far so good. He's fun. Kinda cranky, and has a dog that was a human but got turned into a border collie. He was some genius, so he goes around reading his iPad all the time. He would get frustrated with books and tear them up. He's much happier being able to turn pages by booping his nose on the glass. Shades of Mr. Peabody and his boy, Sherman.

That sounds so fun! The border collies are smart dogs :D Who's the author?

I've gotten so much use out of your sets! I need to reload the Apothecary and Zombie sets because they have so much useful stuff in them! It's really my pleasure!
Faemike55
great looking scene! if it weren't for the fact that I'm reading about 10 different books at the same time, I would start this series as well
lwperkins
LOL I am the same way--I have other series just waiting for me to get around to them! Thank you too!<3

Very cool render, I love how you have done the lighting, but poor fishy, he would have grown up to be a monster of the deep if he had lived!!
lwperkins
I'm thinking I need to retrieve and revive that guy! I love his little toothy face! And thank you too!

He is really named Harry Dresden? Did his ancestors eventually came from the capital of saxony ( it's since more than 800 years Dresden)? Than it`s clear that he's an cutie... True to an old song in Saxony, the most beautiful girls grow on the trees ... This applies to the boys too... And the Saxons are by nature vigilant and impulsive, smart...
Really nice work. Sorry, that i hadn't a look at the other new images in your gallery... Hope, that i''' find some time between christmas and new year to have a look)... Hm... I'm still dreaming of a comeback of some of your 'Bug Hunt' people...
lwperkins
I am too--the Bug Hunt was fun--I lost so much of it when I moved across the country--it was on disks and they were lost somewhere, that I was not ready to try to put it back together again, though I think about it now and then! Moving was not fun.
And yes, the wizard's name is Harry Dresden! They must have them in translation there, they are so fun. He loves comic books, too :D
