Description

This is not art, but it was so fun--I like using these building sets! My V4 still can't blink, though she can do everything else...and the fix looks difficult; I'd have to find the old BitRock installer and reinstall her in Poser..and while I do have it somewhere, I am not sure where in a moving box full of disks going back 12 years. In the meantime, I found M4 a very cheap outfit over at Daz; it's the "M4 Bad Boy" and it works fine in Poser, though getting Mike to set down the spray can has been difficult. (The axis of rotation is way outside of the can, mostly to make it easy for Mike to paint big strokes--but if it had just been a parented prop I think that would have worked better.) Also his cool shades won't sit on top of his head without a lot of fiddling..but you know, that set was $1.99 with the Plat Club so I can't complain. My Wacom troubles were because the Intuos has an update as of October 28th, and it needed it. (Zone Alarm was preventing it) If you need to install it manually, you have to not only delete your old drivers, but also "All Users Preferences"; then plug in your tablet again, and run the installer for the new driver. It only took me 5 installs to figure that out. :p The trees, the picnic table, the hydrant, the foreground buildings and the World's Best Looking Trash Can are all by Mapps and RIchardphotos. :D The dress is the Byzantine Dress by Supernova.

The can could use it! (and the glasses). Can I do it in Poser?

I really enjoyed putting in the sun there--it's cold and rainy here! It's almost the season for doing tropical and desert renders! :D And thank you as always!

outstanding work Lynn. she is very cute. so many of the older clothing simply will not work without the dreaded crosstalk

There is so much to do to get a nice render, just in technicals! I am so impressed with all of you who can do a beautiful render without having to fix things afterwards. And thank you too!

Delightful and interesting scene. it is so in real life that things just don't quite work the way we want them to.

SO true! LOL but sometimes we get something pretty ok anyway! Hope you had a good thanksgiving even with your rough year, Mike!<3

Kate said Mike looked like a basement-dweller, poor guy. I think the can is stuck to his hand :D

Find that BitRock installer? Why not just go to your DAZ account and download her again? Probably quicker.

You've made these two look very suspicious ;)

That was my first thought but since she is already in Daz and works there, I was wondering if that would do the trick, since it seems to be how she comes over into Poser that is the problem. But I am about ready to try it!

Thank you! Sort of a plain render, but I always learn stuff when I do them. :D

Very nice work on the scene. Yup, sometimes the props are a pain to pose. Try to see if you pose using the hip bone, does it make it any easier and keep things centered at the hand.

I'll give that a try--assuming it's rigged as a figure! Thank you!

I think it looks very cool, art is the the eye of the beholder after all. Maybe you could re-parent the can to the hand to make it behave better.

That is a good idea too! (Though I might just leave it on the shelf, too :D) Thank you much!

Marvelous scene! Question: Is the spray can a character that you conform? If so just don't conform it. Load it and put it into position then "set figure parent" to M4's hand. Same with the hat. Or see if the origins can be moved to something more usable. Hope that helps.

I think it is a character! I just need to poke at it--if I use it, I want to put a label on it, too. Thank you too!
