Description

This started out in the classroom as a ink drawing ready to stick clothes onto, like those paper dolls my generation were supposed to like. I have the little A4 piece, her dress lifts up to show her drawers, and the coloured paper is only stuck down at the body end. It was not fit for sharing:but I had a play in PS and found those MARVELLOUS feather and fur brushes and the hat suddenly became really exciting! So I present to you, dressed now, and ready for the ball, The Dowager Duchess! I hope you like her!

interesting lady! Not too sure about her expression. Maybe she's not too thrilled about the upcoming event (She'd rather be home drinking a spot of tea perhaps?)

Her nibs, dressed to the nines. Pretty impressive although she does look as if she was target practice for an archer.

I love how she stands as if she was asked to pose for a photographer: She does her duty. Love the wild stuff you put in to this, esp those 'shoulders' and that hat. (Going to a Noh Theater performance, lol?) Wonderful imagination. It looks like she's posing this outfit for everyone, and it's great to see how blasting it is compared to that very serious gaze. Great fun, and I love the designs, the colors, and that face. It's great against that white too. It's just been great to see all this drawing from you. It's a royal treat, Andrea.
