Description
Now we're talking! A definite world beater. Who needs all those fancy lenses and equipment to take beautiful pics of orchids. He probably uses a smartphone by now.
Captured way back on 10/18/09, at the beautiful Orchid Show, held at the beautiful Huntington Botanical Center and Conservatory in beautiful San Marino, California.

(there's ArtistKimberly with another comma: one of her trademarks!) When I first saw this, I couldn't figure out his camera: Then I remembered that this was what they were like, back in the 16th C! I have one like that---from Helle (It has her magic in it---she gave me my first camera, and got me started!) Great to see him shooting with that, next to the dudes with the lenses the size of Cleveland. Great bright light in this shot, with saturated yellows and luminous greens. And he dominates the thing with his bear-like torso; and I love all his mass and weight concentrated on that tiny screen. A real delight, Harry. And a great companion to the big-camera dudes.
