Terrific! You got the sheen as swaths of brilliant color---it's a big montage of colors and darks and lights. A wonderful pastiche. And it has life and energy, and great contrasts. You highlighted the microphone pickups with whites; and you made the bell of the horn 'sing': It's got wonderful reds and yellows, and they swirl. And the man is the 'anchor' of the painting, while you use such heightened, beautiful colors for the background. As if the background just 'poured' into the painting. Another wonderful, bursting and dancing painting of a musical instrument from you. Terrific, Jock.
