Description

A back lit orchid captured at Insel Mainau. I have not been active here at all because I am focused on other things right now. I do look sometimes, but only look and like rather than commenting and posting. But, today I just wanted to post a special thank you to Jacomina (Dochtervision) because she is so sweet and kind. Last year I met her and her good husband Karel in person when we were vacationing close to where they live. They treated us so well and we had a great time chatting the afternoon away. Jacomina is a talented artist and a sensitive and kind person. Today I got a birthday card from her via snail mail. I find it amazing that she takes the time and effort to remember and do something so thoughtful for my birthday. I am not so good at that sort of thing, but I certainly appreciate the effort she takes. Anyway, I post this beautiful flower to thank a beautiful person for the love and light she shares.
