Description
Captured 6/6/2017, during one of my early morning jaunts about town.
So who needs pics of orchids when you have this beauty to embellish your files?
Homelessness brought to a new level.
Assuming that is a sleeping body under the blanket in the back of the vehicle, I can also assume that those are the owner's slippers on the pavement below, stationed for instant use.
I wonder who I can dedicate this to.

Obviously not a morning person. Now you have the provocative aspect of life in your images. Trespass wrapped in privacy.

Glad you like it. So, yeah, I really crossed the line this time. Ain't anything sacrosanct anymore?

That's actually quite clever, although the lack of any cover would concern me.

I'm picking up from where I last left off, but I don't know if I'll be able to do a long session tonight, only because of time and need to rest. But I'll do some at least, as it's been a while since I've commented here last. And I'll do some of your son's as well---it'll be my pleasure. (Kudos to him for posting for the first time. It's not easy, ever.)
In your quest for genuine city images, this adds to all the shots of decayed garages, broken down cars, and the 'left-outs' of city life and so on. The truck itself is a helluva find, with the rubbed-off chrome and cardboard and cloth over the windows. In the last 2 shots, we see what has to be a person, yeah: a homeless person who found a home in an abandoned truck. (I've met homeless people who'd run their own business, but lost everything: Maybe the truck is his.) Amazing to see his slippers on the road; and, in the last shot, we get a flat back shot of the truck, with the man wrapped up like a pile of old rags. And you got a dark gray feel to the shot, appropriate to the subject. Powerful find, and you did a really fine job on the composition, details, and feel. And given that this was taken last month, it's hard to think of how hot this person must have felt.
